Giant Loop MotoTrekk Panniers

Brand new for 2017, the Giant Loop MotoTrekk Panniers are a set of soft, roll-top saddle bags that are designed to be used with a rack system and give you a moderate amount of storage in a 100% waterproof construction. Starting with the panniers’ foundation, the bag is constructed from super-durable 500 denier PVC materials that are put together with waterproof seams into a single, 21 liter compartment (each side) that will hold a large amount of gear. Up top, a roll-top closure keeps the bags water and weatherproof, and if you don’t need to worry about wet weather, you can even gain a few liters of extra capacity by doing one or two fewer rolls. The MotoTrekk Panniers do have a semi-rigid backing plate integrated into their construction, but the bags get the majority of their support from the rack they’re mounted. Luckily, the panniers fit on just about any rack and already include all of their mounting straps/buckles/latches attached to the bag. On the outside of the bags there are plenty of adjustment and cinch straps to really slim down your bike’s profile. There’s also carry handles so you can easily remove the bags and take them with you when you stop for the night. Alternatively, you can use the included shoulder straps to carry the MotoTrekk like a backpack. All things considered, the MotoTrekk is one of the best rack-mounted universal pannier sets available.
