      Passion That Drives the Polisport Group

      Founded in 1978 by Pedro Araújo, Polisport started with fiberglass motorcycle fenders production at home. After experiencing challenges in finding new replacement parts for the bikes, the founder realized his passion and vision for the motorcycle industry. His hard work, passion, and innovative ideal have set up the company for prolonged success.

      In 2022, The Polisport Group carries out each new project with the same joy and enthusiasm as when they started the brand. Araújo’s passion for the two-wheeled world and his focus on market presence, internationalization, innovation, and customer service quality have helped the brand expand its market and client portfolio. Polisport has managed to reach over 70 countries with its innovative inventory and quality service.

      Leading the Two-Wheeler Industry One Step At a Time

      Soon after the launch of Polisport, the brand began the production of plastic mudguards in 1982. In the following two years, they landed their first international presentation at the IFMA Fair in Cologne and started their exports in Spain. By 1988, they started the production of baby carriers and acquired 50% of the capital of Oliveira e Silva, Lda., a plastics injection company.

      In the following years, Polisport started the production of internal mold and their first bicycle mudguards. They also launched the Bidon line for bicycles and constructed a facility for Polisport Plasticos. Gradually, Polisport grasped deeper knowledge of the industry and innovated a wide range of products that won international recognition and awards.

      Earning multiple certifications, Polisport has created departments of skilled technological development, marketing, logistics, and research to offer the best quality and experience to all their customers across the globe. In 2008, the company won the American IMDA Award (Inmold Decoration Association Award) for the best injection part with IPD technology. They created a Headgy Helmet and soon acquired a competitor to become the world leader in the baby carrier market.

      The Niche That Leads Them To The Global Market

      Rigorous investments and innovations while keeping the core values intact helped the Polisport Group to export 95% of their total production. Specializing in off-road and bicycle accessories, the company has employed 530 employees spread over five companies that mostly cover the entire production process of the Group including Polisport Plásticos SA, Polinter Plásticos SA, Polisport Molds Lda, Polisport Brasil, and Polipromotion.

      The Polisport Group is a world leader in baby carriers, specializing in bicycle and motorcycle accessories, and is established as a market leader with a growing international presence. Their innovations and technical expertise have allowed them to attract more customers and collaborate with world-class brands.

      In the motorcycle industry, they have collaborated with prestigious brands like KTM, Yamaha, Husqvarna, Gas Gas, Triumph, and Wunderlich. They joined with BeSafe, Burley, and Decathlon for bicycle and automotive products.

      Inventory that Exceeds All Expectations

      The Polisport Group launched Polisport Move in 2020 to incorporate mobility- and transport-related products. Aiming to reach a specific target audience, they offer an air filter box cover that acts as a replica of your stock OEM plastics. They also feature pre-drilled radiator scoops made with Durable Gloss Polypropylene (DGP). Their collection also includes a halo LED headlight with a universal mounting system.
