Wondering How it All Started? Here is All You Need to Know!

The story dates back to 1989 when a 12-year-old eagerly wanted his own dirt bike. To make his dream come true, he shoveled gravel, mowed lawns, and picked up any odd job he could get. One day, he and his father found an ad for a used Kawasaki KX80 in the local newspaper. Setting their eyes on the bike, they emptied their hard-earned savings to own it forever.

After waiting for some time, the little kid finally got his mom to drive him an hour and a half to Hollister Hills to ride that newly-owned bike. Unfortunately, after two minutes into the ride, the rear axle fell out, causing to ruin the whole experience. The bike's previous owner used the wrong hardware, which led to this failed voyage. On his drive home, the kid pondered over the whole experience and realized how insignificant hardware could affect his biking experience.

This experience led to the beginning of a passion for creating reliable and appropriate fasteners for dirt bikes. Eleven years and several motorcycles later, the Bolt Motorcycle Hardware came into the picture. The journey began in 2003 in Hollister Hills where Bolt Motorcycle Hardware launched its first product - the Japanese Track Pack.

The brand has launched a series of products ever since. They have created a whole range of hardware solutions that have helped their product line to grow. The people behind the Research and Development section review new models annually to keep our hardware products current and applicable. Their reliable collection of fasteners is tested and used at the professional level in Supercross, Motocross, and ATV racing.
