In 1990, Braking started manufacturing and selling after-market brake discs. Later, in 1998, they launched the first WAVE® disk in trial racing. Gradually, over the years, the company has ventured into different activities for providing top-quality commercial-grade braking systems for vehicles. In the decade after its foundation, the company expanded into Germany and the USA.
Then, 2000 was the year when Braking got its UNI EN ISO 9002 certification. In the same year, they officially launched their complete version f WAVE® disk for after-market. In a stunning performance, the company got 25 world title victories in 2000 and also launched its Briosco site. Then, in 2002 they launched the first BATFLY® disk in off-road racing. Later, in 2004 the company was acquired by Sunstar Group. Later on, Braking and Sunstar Engineering Europe merged into Braking-Sunstar SPA in the year 2005.
